With its stunning snowy scenery in 2018, Zhangjiajie offers an unforgettable experience for tourists.
I had the opportunity to visit Zhangjiajie in the winter of 2018, and it was truly a remarkable experience. The snow-capped mountains, frozen waterfalls, and misty valleys created a magical atmosphere that was both serene and awe-inspiring.
Upon arriving in Zhangjiajie, the first stop on our itinerary was袁家界 (Yuanjiajie), which translates to Sword-shaped Peak. It is famous for its unique rock formations and is considered one of the most beautiful areas in Zhangjiajie. The snow-covered mountains and the distinct shape of the rocks made for a breathtaking view. The temperature was quite cold, but the scenery was worth braving the cold weather.

The snow-covered landscape created a majestic and mysterious atmosphere that was truly captivating. We even had the opportunity to see some wild monkeys, which added to the overall experience.
Another unforgettable experience was visiting 天门山 (Tianmenshan), which translates to Heaven's Gate Mountain. This mountain is known for its massive natural arch, which is believed to be a gateway to heaven. The snowy weather added an extra layer of mystique to the already impressive scenery.
